And reading this (http://www.620wtmj.com/shows/charliesykes/42081487.html) makes my heart just a little sad. I don’t think I even need to explain why….because I’m guessing it makes you feel the same.
I didn’t hear the interview – I cannot aBIDE Mr. Sykes – but if you notice, they don’t actually quote The Arch about the ND invite. I may have to go buy some Pepto Bismol and actually listen to the interview to see what he said. But yeah, I totally know what you mean.
I know, I can’t stand CS either…although I did hear the interview and indeed the Arch did say that he thought Arch D’Arcy made the right call, and that he supported the closing of any Catholic hospitals that were forced to perform abortions. Such heated issues that are so NOT black and white. Yet another example of why the Catholic church leaves me feeling so very conflicted. But the Arch, the ARCH….man. *sigh*
